Kitchen Renovation
Moving a small powder room and stackable washer/dryer in preparation for a next phase addition created space for a nice galley kitchen with plenty of storage. The homeowner also wanted to remove an awkward peninsula for better flow into the dining area. Since the home is tucked into the woods, the sunny yellow of the cabinetry and the white counters and appliances brighten a space that doesn’t get a lot of natural light. Classic white subway tile on the backsplash and an extra bench for seating (where the old powder room used to be) continues the casual cottage feel of the design.
